PintSave accepts x.com and twitter.com links to individual public posts with video. A post link includes /status/ followed by the post ID.

If you found the video in a feed or on a profile, open its post first. If the link you copied includes a question mark, paste the full address.

How to download a video from X

    Copy the post link

    Open the post with the video you want. Copy its link from the Share menu in the X app or from your browser’s address bar.

    Find the video in PintSave

    Paste the link into PintSave and select the arrow beside the field. Use the preview image or duration, if shown, to find the right video.

    Choose MP4 or MP3

    Select the MP4 button for the resolution you want or choose Download MP3 to save the audio. Leave the page open until your browser starts the download.

Twitter video downloader FAQ

When an MP4 button lists a resolution, the numbers show the width and height in pixels. For a vertical video, you might see 320 × 568 and 720 × 1280. A higher resolution can help you see fine details on a large screen. A lower resolution usually means a smaller file, which helps when sharing or saving space.
PintSave lists the MP4 versions it finds for each video. Some videos have only one option. The downloaded file keeps its source resolution.
Paste the post link once, then choose a download on each numbered card. If two previews look alike, the durations can help you tell the videos apart. You can save one clip as an MP4 and the audio from another as an MP3. When the video’s dimensions are known, they appear in the MP4 filename.
PintSave needs an audio track to create an MP3. If the video has no audio track, you can still save it as an MP4.
Yes. Copy the post link from the X app’s Share menu and paste it into PintSave in your mobile browser. Choose a download option on the card for the clip you want.
Check the downloads list in the browser you used. If it asked where to save the file, open the folder you chose.
Open the post while signed out of X and see if the video plays. If it does, wait a moment and try the link again in PintSave. A downloadable file may be temporarily unavailable even when the video plays on X.
Select Find videos again with the same post link. Then choose a download option to prepare a new file.
