Public video posts
Use a URL that opens one public Facebook video. A Page, profile, feed, or photo album does not identify which video should be checked.

Copy the link from the individual Reel. The same form is used for regular videos and Reels.

Open the video in Facebook, select Share, and copy its link. Short links also work when they lead to an available public video or Reel.
Open the individual public video or Reel. Choose Copy link from the Share menu or the post menu. On a computer, you can copy the address after opening the video page.

Paste the link and check the preview
Paste the link into PintSave and select Check video. Confirm that the thumbnail, creator, and description match the post you intended to save.

Save the MP4 file
Select Download video and wait until the button says Your download is ready. Find the MP4 in your browser downloads or the Downloads folder on your device.
Open the saved MP4 from Downloads.
Available format and video quality
PintSave saves the compatible video file Facebook supplies for the public post as MP4. The available resolution and file size vary between posts.
An HD upload does not guarantee that an HD file is exposed for download. PintSave does not upscale the source, create a 4K version, or remove captions, logos, or watermarks embedded in the original video.
Why a Facebook video may not be available
The link does not identify one video
Open the individual video or Reel and copy its link again. Profile, Page, feed, group, and photo-album URLs are not direct video links.
The post requires account access
A post can be visible because you are signed in, follow the creator, or belong to a private group. PintSave cannot use your Facebook session or permissions.
Facebook did not return a video file
The post may be removed, region-limited, or temporarily unavailable, or Facebook may have changed its response. Check the original post and retry later.
